Noah Dobbins Turns in Season-Best Effort
Noah Dobbins produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Hewitt-Trussville to the win on Friday. Dobbins threw for 238 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 67 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
On the year, Dobbins has thrown 13 touchdowns while averaging 138.5 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 40.74 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 99.54 passer rating.

On Friday, Hillcrest had to settle for second even though Kahden Smith put up the best numbers he has all season. Smith picked up 231 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 96 yards.
For the season, Smith has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 74.4 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 4.25 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 8.25 rushing yards.

Dujon Came Up Big in Thompson's 45-20 Win
