Softball Recap: Oak Level Baptist Academy Takes a Loss

Oak Level Baptist Academy was the 3-2 winner over Forsyth Home Educators when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Conquerors fell 6-2 to the Hawks on Tuesday.

Haley Inman put in work no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one home run and one stolen base.

Oak Level Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2-1. As for Forsyth Home Educators, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Forsyth Home Educators will face off against Greater Cabarrus S at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Oak Level Baptist Academy will be paying especially close attention to the Hawks' game: after the Hawks faces off against the Stallions, they'll take on Oak Level Baptist Academy again at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
