Macie Volkmar and Heidi Rathmann were among the main playmakers for Antioch as the former scored 14 points and the latter scored 15 points. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which Rathmann has scored at least 25% of Antioch's points. Hailey Caya was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Meanwhile, Carmel got the win against Saint Viator on Wednesday by a conclusive 54-31. Given Carmel's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 81st, while Saint Viator is ranked 413th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
