Baseball Recap: Gompers Prep Academy Takes a Loss

Gompers Prep Academy couldn't beat High Tech Mesa on Thursday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Eagles came up short against the Thunder, falling 20-4. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Thunder recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Gompers Prep Academy saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marco M, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. Diego Mendoza also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Gompers Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for High Tech Mesa, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-6.
