Volleyball Game Preview: North Rangers vs. Chardon Hilltoppers

The North Rangers are taking a road trip to face off against the Chardon Hilltoppers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Chardon took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on North, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, North narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Kenston 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rangers.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (109-101) North actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 13-25, 25-19, 19-25, 25-23, 19-17.

Meanwhile, Chardon lost 3-0 to Mentor on Saturday.

Chardon may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored zero points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

North's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Chardon, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-6.
