Softball Game Preview: Seneca Red Hawks vs. Southern Trojans

The Seneca Red Hawks will venture away from home to challenge the Southern Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Seneca and 12 for Southern dating back to last season.

Seneca fell victim to Atherton and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Ravens, falling 23-0. Considering the last time the Red Hawks couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Meanwhile, Southern lost 20-3 to Jeffersontown on Thursday.

Southern's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Seneca, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Everything went Seneca's way against Southern in their previous meeting back in March, as Seneca made off with a 21-3 victory. Do the Red Hawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
