Basketball Recap: Arrowhead Christian's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Arrowhead Christian needed a changed in momentum after dropping three straight games and they got it from Parker Distleberg. The Arrowhead Christian Eagles came out on top against the Linfield Christian Lions by a score of 62-50 on Friday thanks in part to Distleberg, who went 13 of 25 on his way to 33 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Linfield Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Daniel Crawford, who posted 20 points. Another player making a difference was Xavier Cox, who had 15 points.

Arrowhead Christian now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Linfield Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Arrowhead Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 79-29 win against Woodcrest Christian on the 14th. As for Linfield Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-42 victory against Aquinas on the 13th.
