Football Recap: Vernon Piles Up the Points Against Richland + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vernon). They took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 42-7 victory over the Richland Raiders. The Lions pushed the score to 21-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Raiders had little chance of recovering from.

Vernon can attribute much of their success to Tru Gipson, who rushed for 36 yards and one score, and also picked up 38 receiving yards.
