Soccer Recap: Delta Extends Winning Streak to Three

Delta won the last time they faced Westlake Charter and things went their way on Thursday too. The Saints blew past the Explorers 4-1. Delta might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Westlake Charter with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Benjamin Somera (2), Nery Gonzalez, and William Chavez.

The win (which was Delta's third in a row) raised their record to 6-3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Westlake Charter, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4-1.
