Soccer Game Preview: Scituate vs. Coventry

The Scituate Spartans will square off against the Coventry Oakers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

If Coventry heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Scituate took over last week. The Spartans came out on top against Westerly by a score of 3-1 on Saturday.

Scituate hit the Bulldogs with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Brian Kelly, Devin Mowry, and Noah Bradford.

Meanwhile, Coventry faced Pilgrim in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The result kept Coventry happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 16th.

Coventry's draw makes their record 5-2-4 this season. As for Scituate, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-1-2 record this season.
