Basketball Recap: Columbus Discoverers vs. Fremont Tigers
Columbus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 60-55 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fremont Tigers. The Discoverers were not able to make up for their loss to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.
Several Discoverers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaxson Vasicek, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Ryder Bock was another key player, putting up eight points and nine boards.
