After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Oswego, Phoenix was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 50-49 win over the Cortland Purple Tigers. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Firebirds as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
