It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Leo can now relate to. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 44-43 to the Dyett Eagles. The Lions' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Dyett's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Devon Shelton, who posted ten points and five boards. What's more, Shelton also posted a 60% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Rickey Coleman, who put up eight points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.

Leo's loss dropped their record down to 23-12. As for Dyett, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-7 record this season.

Leo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dyett, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 40-36 victory against Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin on the 10th.
