Basketball Recap: Dime Box Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Dime Box won the last time they faced Calvert, and Ta'Niyah Auston did her part to make sure it happened again. The Dime Box Longhorns were the clear victor by a 48-28 margin over the Calvert Trojans on Friday thanks in part to Auston, who posted 21 points. That makes it 16 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Dime Box's points.

Dime Box will be playing at home against Round Top-Carmine at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Round Top-Carmine will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Dime Box surely won't give up without a fight. As for Calvert, they will head out on the road to square off against North Zulch at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Calvert's defense has only allowed 18.9 points per game this season, so North Zulch's offense will have their work cut out for them.
