Basketball Recap: Saint Stephen's Episcopal Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bradenton Christian, Saint Stephen's Episcopal was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 57-46 win over the Patel Trailblazers. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 50-37 victory the Trailblazers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Saint Stephen's Episcopal found their leader in sophomore Marcus Motwani, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 11 boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Motwani has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Cameron Brewer, who posted eight points and eight rebounds.

Saint Stephen's Episcopal's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-13. As for Patel, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-14.

Saint Stephen's Episcopal didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-54 victory against Lakewood Ranch Preparatory Academy on the 10th. As for Patel, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Cambridge Christian at 7:00 p.m.
