Volleyball Recap: West Florence Starts Season with Loss on the Road

West Florence had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Carolina Forest Panthers by a score of 2-1. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, West Florence sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 22-25, 15-6.

Carolina Forest has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, West Florence will be playing in front of their home fans against Darlington at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. After both having extra time off, Carolina Forest and Wilson Hall will shake off the rust and duke it out at 9:00 a.m. on the 23rd.
