Volleyball Game Preview: Inman Inman Teutons vs. Bennington Bulldogs

Inman is 9-1 against Bennington since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Inman Teutons will face off against the Bulldogs. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Inman is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They skirted past Washington County 2-1.

Ellie Thimmesch had a dynamite game, getting 21 digs and four assists. That's the most digs she has posted over her last 14 matches.

Meanwhile, Bennington came tearing into Monday's contest with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Cardinals. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Bennington had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-15, 26-24.

Inman's record now sits at 26-13. As for Bennington, their record is now 33-7.

Inman was able to grind out a solid win over Bennington when the teams last played back in September, winning 2-0. Do the Inman Teutons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
