Soccer Game Preview: Marquette vs. Kirkwood

Kirkwood will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Marquette extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Mustangs came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against Howell Central. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Marquette were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Kirkwood waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Vikings, sneaking past 2-1. That's two games straight that Kirkwood have won by just one goal.

Kirkwood's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3. As for Marquette, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
