Baseball Recap: Hunterdon Central Takes a Loss

Hunterdon Central entered their match against Bridgewater-Raritan on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Red Devils took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Devils of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2024.

The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 9-3. As for Bridgewater-Raritan, their victory bumped their record up to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Bridgewater-Raritan will square off against Rancocas Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hunterdon Central will be paying especially close attention to the Panthers' game: after the Panthers face off against the Red Devils, they'll take on Hunterdon Central again at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
