Basketball Recap: Dewey Drops Highest Score of Season Against Madison

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dewey). They managed a 57-51 victory over the Madison Golden Knights on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Dewey also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Dewey's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-7. As for Madison, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Dewey wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 46-23 loss against Fort Hamilton on the 17th. As for Madison, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. on January 31st.
