Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Key West). Everything went their way against the St. Brendan Sabres on Friday as they made off with a 36-14 win. The victory continues a trend for the Conchs in their matchups with the Sabres: they've now won three in a row.

Walson Morin continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 217 yards and two scores while picking up 12.8 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 53 yards. Jeff Dejean was in the mix too, providing Key West with two TDs.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Key West proved: they limited St. Brendan to a paltry 1.1 yards per carry. The Conchs didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 9.8.

Key West's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for St. Brendan, they moved to 4-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Key West and St. Brendan will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Conchs see the field they'll take on Northwestern at 7:00 p.m. on October 11. As for St. Brendan, their break will end when they face NSU University at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
