Volleyball Game Preview: Legacy Academy Silverbacks vs. Logan Longhorns

The Legacy Academy Silverbacks will take on the Logan Longhorns at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Legacy Academy sitting on nine straight victories and Logan on ten.

On Tuesday, Legacy Academy got the win against Oak Grove Classical Academy by a conclusive 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-11, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Logan made easy work of San Jon on Monday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Logan took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-13, 25-9.

Legacy Academy's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Logan, their win bumped their record up to 16-2.

Legacy Academy took their victory against Logan when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Silverbacks since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
