Mount Greylock Regional and Taconic are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2018, but likely not for long. The Mounties will venture away from home to square off against the Thunder at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Mount Greylock Regional is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Mount Greylock Regional came up short against Turners Falls on Tuesday, falling 17-4.

Mila Marcisz made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Audrianna Pelkey, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Taconic was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They lost 8-1 to Frontier Regional. The Thunder haven't had much luck with the Red Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Taconic saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kylie Duhamel, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Mount Greylock Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Taconic, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Mount Greylock Regional couldn't quite get it done against Taconic when the teams last played two weeks ago as they fell 12-7. Can the Mounties avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
