Football Game Recap: Pecatonica/Argyle vs. Shullsburg

Shullsburg came into their this week averaging 34.83 points per game, but Shullsburg fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They have to be aching after a bruising 0-27 defeat to Pecatonica/Argyle on Saturday. If Shullsburg were hoping to take revenge for the 8-33 defeat against Pecatonica/Argyle the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed.

The loss dropped Shullsburg's record to 2-5. The win bumped Pecatonica/Argyle's record up to 6-1.

Shullsburg will look to defend their home turf next week against Hillsboro at 7:00 PM. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair. As for Pecatonica/Argyle, they will face off against River Ridge. Pecatonica/Argyle are cruising in on a three-game winning streak while River Ridge are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses.
