Baseball Recap: Hitchcock Comes Up Short

Hitchcock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the East Bernard Brahmas, falling 13-1. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Brahmas apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Hitchcock saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trey Perez, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. That run marked the first that Perez scored this season.

Hitchcock's record is now 4-16. As for East Bernard, their win bumped their record up to 20-2.

While Hitchcock had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
