Volleyball Recap: St. Anthony Comes Up Short

St. Anthony was the 2-1 winner over Shelbyville when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Rams on Saturday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Anthony's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Shelbyville, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.

St. Anthony and Shelbyville should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Bulldogs will face off against Brownstown/St. Elmo at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (96 vs. 296). Meanwhile, Shelbyville (ranked 174th) will meet Clinton (ranked 512th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
