Soccer Recap: Phoenix Academy Takes a Loss

Phoenix Academy lost against Jordan-Matthews last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Firebirds lost 9-0 to the Jets. That's two games in a row now that Phoenix Academy have lost by exactly nine goals.

Phoenix Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Jordan-Matthews, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Phoenix Academy will host Piedmont Classical at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jordan-Matthews, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Lee County at 6:00 p.m.
