Basketball Recap: Elgin Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Elgin challenged Pflugerville on Friday. The Wildcats fell 55-48 to the Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 43-34 on January 6th.

Elgin has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-16 record this season. As for Pflugerville, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-19.

Coming up, Elgin will square off against Pflugerville Connally at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 73.41 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Pflugerville, they will face off against Hendrickson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Hawks have now posted at least 55 points in their last six contests.
