Buena Park's Deven Boston recorded the longest rushing play in Freeway this season in his game against Sunny Hills last week. Boston ran for 90 yards on the play and finished with 240 on the day as his team defeated the Lancers.

La Habra extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Fullerton, 34-9. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Highlanders.

Kyle Mahlstede provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Sonora fell to Troy. He completed seven passes for 147 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for 100 yards. Mahlstede's favorite target this week was Nate Miranda, who caught three passes for 98 yards.

Kyle Blumer put up the best numbers through the air as the Warriors topped the Raiders. He finished with five completions for 149 yards and two touchdowns. Blumer's favorite target this week was Dallas Parent, who caught two passes for 82 yards.

6-foot-2 quarterback Scott Lloyd of the Indians is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1005. He has also thrown eight touchdowns. On the ground, Buena Park's Boston has rushed for 1530 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Miranda. The Sonora star has 25 catches for 590 yards.

Fullerton's Jesus Nodarse needs only 59 yards against Troy next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Nodarse has rushed for 941 yards on 122 carries so far this year.

A big matchup in Freeway this week will be when Anthony White's team takes on La Habra. The Coyotes are currently in third, while Frank Mazzotta's team is in second.

The Highlanders took down Julian Smilowitz's team 34-9 last week, the largest margin of any game.
