Recap: Bryan Golden Bears vs. Van Wert Cougars
The Bryan Golden Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 21 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 61-25 victory over Van Wert at home. The victory was familiar territory for Bryan who now have four in a row.
Despite the loss, Van Wert still got an impressive performance from jordanne blythe, who scored ten points.
Bryan pushed their record up to 10-1 with that win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 21.82 points. As for Van Wert, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bryan will take on Archbold at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Archbold will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 419th, while Bryan is ranked 60th). As for Van Wert, they will be playing at home against Wapakoneta at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
