Softball Recap: Shiprock Takes a Loss

After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Shiprock was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Kirtland Central Broncos, falling 14-1. The match marked the Chieftains' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Shiprock dropped their record down to 5-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Kirtland Central, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.

Coming up, Shiprock will square off against Bloomfield at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Chieftains are facing the Bobcats at the right time seeing as the Bobcats are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Kirtland Central, they will take on Gallup at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
