Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 41-17 to the Eagle Ridge Christian Eagles. If the Crusaders were looking for revenge after losing 41-23 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis still got an impressive performance from Zuri King, who posted three points in addition to 16 rebounds and three steals. King is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last three games she's played. Jorja Webster also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.
Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis' loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Eagle Ridge Christian, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3.
