Basketball Recap: New Miami Comes Up Short

New Miami was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 36-30 heartbreaker at the hands of Spencer Center. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Spencer Center apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

New Miami's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Spencer Center, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-15.

New Miami has already played their next matchup (against Cincinnati Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Spencer Center will be playing in front of their home fans against Norwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
