Patrick Henry had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They put the hurt on the Canyon Hills Rattlers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rattlers, too.

Patrick Henry's got stronger as the match went on, holding Canyon Hills to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-16, 25-15.

Austin Odle paced Patrick Henry's offense, picking up 12 kills. Odle got some help from Sylas Doan and his 21 assists. Finally, Finnley Corbin kept Patrick Henry's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Patrick Henry pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Canyon Hills, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Patrick Henry will host Morse at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Canyon Hills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against University City at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
