Basketball Game Preview: Fort Stockton Panthers vs. Pampa Harvesters

The Fort Stockton Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Pampa Harvesters at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Fort Stockton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matchups.

Fort Stockton will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Monahans, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Fort Stockton blew past Monahans 64-39 on Tuesday. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 529th, while the Loboes are ranked 1413th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Pampa ended up a good deal behind West Plains on Tuesday and lost 66-48. The defeat continues a trend for the Harvesters in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now lost five in a row.

Fort Stockton has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points over those games. As for Pampa, their loss dropped their record down to 19-14.
