Southport barely beat Pike the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cardinals came out on top against the Red Devils on Monday by a score of 13-1 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Southport's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Pike, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-21.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southport will host Terre Haute South Vigo at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pike, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.89 runs per game on average), something the Red Devils will no doubt try to take advantage of.
