Basketball Recap: Boys & Girls Takes a Loss

Boys & Girls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost to the Adams Street Academy N/A on the road by a 55-41 margin. While losing is never fun, the Kangaroos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 392nd, while the N/A are ranked 148th).

Boys & Girls' loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Adams Street Academy, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Boys & Girls will host Gaynor at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Adams Street Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Achievement First at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
