Soccer Recap: Godley Takes a Loss

Godley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ferris Yellowjackets. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Yellowjackets earlier this season, when they won 1-1.

Godley's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Ferris, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-8.

We've got a battle between Wildcats coming up. As for Ferris, they will host Alvarado at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
