Pueblo West and Grandview squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Pueblo West had to settle for second. They came up short against the Wolves, falling 15-2. The Cyclones' loss signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Pueblo West saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Garcia, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI. Garcia has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Pueblo West's defeat dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Grandview, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.

Pueblo West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grandview, they will take on Castle View at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Wolves have won six straight at home, while the Sabercats won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
