Soccer Game Preview: Copperas Cove vs. Temple

The Copperas Cove Bulldawgs will head out on the road to challenge the Temple Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Temple took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Copperas Cove, who comes in off a win.

Copperas Cove is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past Shoemaker 8-0 on Friday. The Bulldawgs haven't had any issues with Wolves recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Temple's offense. They lost 5-0 to Bryan on Friday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Copperas Cove's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Temple, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.

Copperas Cove beat Temple by a goal in their previous matchup back in February, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Copperas Cove since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
