Basketball Recap: Phoenix Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Phoenix duked it out with Howardsville Christian on Monday. The Phoenix Falcons lost 35-9 to the Howardsville Christian Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-24 last Friday.

Phoenix has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. The win (which was Howardsville Christian's third in a row) raised their record to 6-15.

As of now, neither Phoenix nor Howardsville Christian have any future games scheduled.
