Volleyball Recap: Berkner Find Success

Berkner won the last time they faced Wilmer-Hutchins and things went their way on Saturday too. The Rams came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0.

Berkner's offense was headlined by Adau Chol and Desiree Powell, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Bimbola Hameed and her five assists. Katie Volpe controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Berkner now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Wilmer-Hutchins, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Berkner wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against North Dallas on the 16th. As for Wilmer-Hutchins, they will challenge Bowie at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Volunteers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
