Soccer Game Preview: Southeast Raleigh vs. Cleveland + Official Tickets

Southeast Raleigh is 0-9 against Cleveland since September of 2021 but things could change on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will head out to face off against the Rams at 6:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Southeast Raleigh fought the good fight in their overtime match against Smithfield-Selma on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Cleveland kept a clean sheet against Garner on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Trojans 1-0. The game was the first time Cleveland have beaten Garner on their pitch since September 21, 2022.

Cleveland's one-goal win came courtesy of Joesph Dillon-Fye, who's now up to seven this season.

The win got Cleveland back to even at 8-8. As for Southeast Raleigh, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14-1.

Southeast Raleigh couldn't quite get it done against Cleveland when the teams last played two weeks ago as they fell 3-1. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
