Cade Klubnik, Travis Hunter, Raleek Brown, Luther Burden headline star-studded roster.

Each year since 2006, MaxPreps has recognized the nation's top high school football players at the conclusion of the season. Past members of the MaxPreps High School All-America Team include Julio Jones (2007), Keenan Allen (2009), Jadeveon Clowney (2010), Stefon Diggs (2011), Derrick Henry (2012), Kyler Murray (2014), Chase Young (2016), Micah Parsons (2017), Nakobe Dean (2018), Bryce Young (2019), Jaxon Smith-Njigba (2019) and Dallas Turner (2020).

Cade Klubnik of Austin Westlake (Texas), the MaxPreps National Player of the Year, highlights this year's selections. The Clemson signee led the Chaparrals to their third consecutive state championship, going 16-0 and finishing the year ranked at No. 2 in the final MaxPreps Top 25 rankings. He accounted for 3,722 yards of total offense (3,251 passing, 471 rushing) and 55 touchdowns. He ended his high school career undefeated as the starting quarterback and left Westlake as the school's all-time passing leader in yards and touchdowns, a true feat for a school that has produced quarterbacks Drew Brees, Nick Foles and Sam Ehlinger.

Raleek Brown of Mater Dei (Santa Ana), Earnest Greene of St. John Bosco (Bellflower) and Tetairoa McMillan of Servite (Anaheim) head the eight-pick California contingent on the All-America squad. The Trinity League trio helped the Golden State land the most selections, ahead of Texas (7), Florida (6), Georgia (5) and Alabama (4).

Mater Dei (Calif.) and Austin Westlake (Texas) — who finished 1-2 in the final MaxPreps Top 25 rankings — each had three selections. Travis Hunter joined Collins Hill (Suwanee, Ga.) teammate Asani Redwood as one of four schools — IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.), Servite (Anaheim, Calif.) and Thompson (Alabaster, Ala.) — with multiple picks.

Selections are based on team success, individual production and local, regional and state honors from the recently-completed season. Potential at the college and professional level is not a primary consideration. Players in post-graduate and non-scholastic programs are not eligible for inclusion.
