Softball Game Preview: Philadelphia High School for Girls GAZELLE vs. High School of the Future

The Philadelphia High School for Girls GAZELLE will take on High School of the Future at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The last three games Philadelphia High School for Girls has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Tuesday, Philadelphia High School for Girls didn't have quite enough to beat Frankford and fell 6-4.

High School of the Future kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against Samuel Fels, falling 20-5.

Philadelphia High School for Girls' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for High School of the Future, they dropped their record down to 0-1 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Philadelphia High School for Girls took their win against High School of the Future in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 18-8 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the GAZELLE since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
