Baseball Recap: Grant Park Takes a Loss

Grant Park lost against Beecher last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Dragons came up short against the Bobcats, falling 12-2. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grant Park saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Heldt, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Grant Park now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Beecher, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-3.

Coming up, Grant Park will host Kankakee at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Beecher, they will venture away from home to challenge Crete-Monee at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
