Volleyball Recap: Manatee Takes a Loss

Manatee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Sarasota Sailors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sailors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 2nd.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 24-26, 25-20, 25-12.

Manatee's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Sarasota, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.

Looking ahead, Manatee will be taking part in a tournament against Out-of-Door Academy at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Sarasota, they will head out on the road to face off against Cardinal Mooney at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
