Basketball Recap: Thurston Takes a Loss

Thurston lost against South Eugene back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Thurston Colts took a 39-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Eugene Axe.

Thurston's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for South Eugene, the victory also got them back to even at 3-3.

Thurston won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Putnam at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Eugene, they will take on Century in a tournament on Friday. Century will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something South Eugene surely won't give up without a fight.
