After both having extra time off, the Foster Falcons and the Alief Elsik Rams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Foster's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Alief Elsik's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Foster is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitcher stepped up to hand George Ranch a 24-0 shutout last Friday. Considering the Falcons have won seven matches by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Ariyanna Hernandez was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, seven RBI, and three runs. Those seven RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Emerson Lechler, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
Foster was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as George Ranch only posted a batting average of .000.
Meanwhile, Alief Elsik gave up the first runs last Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Alief Hastings 8-7. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won three in a row.
The team relied heavily on Thania Lopez, who went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Arayiah Lute was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
Alief Elsik's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Foster, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-6-1.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Foster hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .321. However, it's not like Alief Elsik struggles in that department as they've averaged .513. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Foster's way against Alief Elsik when the teams last played back in March of 2022, as Foster made off with a 12-5 victory. Will Foster repeat their success, or does Alief Elsik have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
