Lynnwood extended their losing streak to ten on Monday, dropping their season record down to 1-12 in the process. They came up short against the Mountlake Terrace Hawks, falling 21-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-0 on April 2nd.

As for Mountlake Terrace, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5. Considering they have won five games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

For Mountlake Terrace's part, Bri Reyes was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. That's the most strikeouts Reyes has posted since back in April of 2024. She was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two triples, five RBI, and three runs.

In other batting news, Jordyn Stokes and Olivia Brown did most of the damage at the plate: Stokes went 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double, while Brown went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
